Spanning parts of Western Asia, Northern Africa, and surrounding regions, it includes countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, and Jordan, among others.

As a region that has shaped global history, religion, and trade, it continues to offer exciting opportunities for international travelers and hospitality professionals alike.

- Recreation and Leisure (Recreation and Leisure roles focus on guest entertainment, wellness, and activity programs within resorts, hotels, and leisure facilities. These positions may include roles such as dance instructor, fitness or gym trainer, lifeguard, children’s activity coordinator, au pair, sports coach, or recreation assistant. Responsibilities typically involve planning and leading activities, ensuring guest safety, promoting wellness and engagement, and creating enjoyable experiences for guests of all ages.)
- Events and Banqueting (Events and Banqueting roles involve assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of events such as conferences, weddings, corporate functions, and private celebrations. Responsibilities may include event setup and breakdown, guest coordination, service during functions, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring events run smoothly and to a high standard. These roles provide hands-on experience in event management, hospitality service, and customer relations within hotels and resorts.)

Included in the programme fee
- All processing costs in South Africa and Asia
- Application, interview and placement
- Visa application assistance to obtain the necessary Internship Visa for a 12 month duration (or longer).
- Pre-departure orientation.
Working conditions
Interns will be required to follow a structured training plan while participating in the programme.
- Average working hours per week: 45 to 50
- Average working days per week: 5 to 6
- Public holidays granted
- Personal leave granted for 12-month agreement
How
Once you have registered for the programme and paid your registration fee, YDP Work & Travel will conduct an interview with you. Here not only will we make sure you are qualified for this programme, we will also give you the tools and manuals for writing not just a great CV, but a covering letter that will explain to your prospective employer that they don’t need to worry about the visa process as YDP and our partner sponsors you on the proper visa. Then our partner (electronically) will interview you to find your perfect internship / job, it’s not that hard to find a job quickly (so be prepared to leave South Africa within 2 months of applying). Once all this paperwork is done, our partner will apply for the visa for you, which takes 7 to 10 working days. Then voila, book your ticket and you are on your way.

Programs and Services
1. Management Training Program
A structured program for graduates or students with work experience, focused on developing leadership and supervisory skills for future management roles.
Duration: 12–24 months
Eligibility:
- Up to 39 years old
- Relevant qualification and at least 1 year’s experience
- Fluent English
- Academic and employer references required.
2. Contractual Positions
Fixed-term employment roles with defined responsibilities in the hospitality industry.
Duration: 1–3 years
Eligibility:

3. Dual Pathway Program
