10 Great reasons to travel after school/College.

1.You likely don’t have the same financial burdens that you may have later on in life, and if you have student loans, luckily you are still in the grace period before you need to start paying them off. Take this period of financial freedom to invest in yourself and travel.

2.Broaden your knowledge while experiencing the various cultures of this beautiful world of ours.

3.You can work while you travel. Live and work in countries such as America, Netherlands and Australia. Doing this allows you to experience different cultures while adding valuable international work experience to your resume

4.Taking the time to travel before you start working can also help shape the direction in which you want your life to go, adding valuable skills and experiences to your resume, making you more attractive to future employers.

5.You deserve a break, after the stresses school/college do something for yourself and invest in your future.

6.While you’re traveling, you will have plenty of time to reflect on what you want to do when you return home.

7.Between ages 18-25 is the best time to travel as many places over substantial travel discounts for that age bracket. So travel while it is cheaper.

8.Traveling becomes more difficult with age. Not just because of added responsibilities, but your health also needs to be taken into consideration. You may have more money when you’re older, but you may not be in the physical condition or have the same drive to see and experience what the world has to offer as you once did. You probably won’t have nearly the same experiences either – Things like nightclubs, backpacking, staying in hostels will seem less appealing once you get older and these are all experiences that can lead to an amazing trip.

9.Traveling will force you out of your comfort zone and improve yourself while doing so. You’ll find yourself being forced into being independent by figuring how to get around, budgeting and scheduling, all very important and essential qualities later on in life.

10.You will gain a vast amount of knowledge while traveling, however the experience will provide much more than that. The stories that come with this knowledge are almost as important.

11.Bonus: You will have achieved a personal accomplishment. You’ll be proving to yourself and everyone else that you can stand on your own two feet and take on anything that life throws at you head on.

There is a world full of opportunity out there, that are just waiting to be explored. Make sure you don’t miss your chance! Remember, the only thing that’s limiting you is your imagination.

MAKE IT HAPPEN!
